Why Am I Waiting On 'Sea Change' by S.M. Wheeler?
- I can never be sure how I will react to this cover. Sometimes I think it's creepy, sometimes I like it, sometimes it scares me. But it's definitely interesting.
- The heroine has a KRAKEN as a best friend. I mean, how awesome is that? And he is "eloquent and intelligent sea monster" - so I can't wait to meet him.
- If you read the summary, especially second paragraph, Sea Change
- And last but not least: it's fantasy (duh). ;)
So, those are my reasons why I am waiting on Sea Change

Whoah! I saw this someplace recently, but the cover didn't grab me. Oh yeah, it's up for requesting on NG! But now I wants it bad *requests*

Yeah, the cover is very odd, I think they would have gotten much better audience response if the cover resembled Harry Potter or Rick Riordan covers.

ReplyDeleteYes, I stumbled into announcement for this book before cover reveal, if the cover was present, I probably would not bother to read summary. It looks too freaky. I hope it will be freaky and unique in a good way.
