Top Ten Books to Movies (Guest Post by Karice Bolton)
Tuesday, May 28, 2013Today is freebie time for Top Ten Tuesday at The Broke and the Bookish. It means you can pick any topic you want. Since I am a libra and it's always tough to decide, I took the easy way out - I invited Karice Bolton to write a guest post and pick a topic.
A Little Bit More About Karice Bolton:
Karice married the love of her life who she met in high school, and she still can't get over how cute and funny he is. They have two English Bulldogs that are the sweetest bullies in the world, and they use their cuteness to get what they want. Karice loves the snow and gravitates towards the stuff as often as possible! She enjoys skiing and tries really hard to snowboard, but often makes a nice little area to sit while everyone zips by on their board. She enjoys writing, and she also loves to read just about anything with print.
Books by Karice Bolton: The Camp, The Witch Avenue series ( Lonely Souls, Altered Souls, Released Souls & Shattered Souls), The Watchers Trilogy, ...

Great list! I'd put Enchanted April on this list.
ReplyDeleteHere's my Top Ten list!
I haven't heard about 'Enchanted April' before neither movie or book. But I like movie summary on IMDB, I will try to find it somewhere and rent it out.
DeleteGreat list Karice! LOTR hands down is one of my favourite book-to-movie adaptations. I also enjoyed Sleepy Hollow the movie far more than the book. Another favourite adaptation of mine is Atonement, it was pretty flawless (especially as the book was highly internal in terms of its drama) =)
ReplyDeleteMy TTT is about multiple copies of books I own, lol xD
LOTR is one of my favorite book-to-movie adaptations too. I talked my husband into watching extended versions with me again recently and it was mind-blowing still.
DeleteI haven't read Sleepy Hollow, only watched various adaptations.
Atonement was pretty boring to me (movie I haven't read the book). Sorry, maybe I was not in the right mood... :/
Great list! Peter Jackson did such a phenomenal job with LotR. I love Sleepy Hollow and Girl, Interrupted, too. I still need to read The Help (*hides*) and have been holding off on watching the movie until I do.

LOTR fangirls highfive :)
DeleteGirl, Interrupted was one of my favorite dramas when I was a teen.
I haven't read The Help too. ;) But I did watch the movie and it was educational and interesting, very nice for a historical.
Karice and I share a love of skiing. Dr. Zhivago is my favorie book to movie.
ReplyDeleteGood for you. Skiing sounds super fun. (says the girl who never tried it)
DeleteI haven't watched or read Dr. Zhivago. A shame I know.
Books to movies are always interesting for me. Great post! :)

Me too. I haven't written this post but Karice read my mind I swear. :D
DeleteThanks for following. ;)
Hahahaha I'm a libra, too, and I couldn't decided between 5 different themes this week :D
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I love these movies, although I still haven't read all the books, but those I have I loved, too :)
So far I have solved this problem by inviting guests to write these freebies posts. But if I don't find help for next one, there will be trouble. :)
DeleteActually I haven't read most of the books for these movies too. I only read Harry Potter, Hunger Games, Lord Of The Rings & The Green Mile - but I liked them all.
