New Books for 15. Dec. - 21. Dec.
Saturday, December 22, 2012IMM is hosted by The Story Siren & STS is hosted by Tynga's Reviews
Here is a list of books that I bought or received from various sources during this week.
The pile of books I have to read keeps growing. I managed to avoid even visiting NetGalley this week and I was doing so well... Then NightShade Books tricked me with their Mayan Prophecy Averted Giveaway. Yes, I know I did not have to download the books, but they sounded so good... Of course after that my control broke and...
For Review:
Big thanks to Orbit & Night Shade Books for approving my requests via NetGalley and to Del Rey for approving my request via Edelweiss.
Gifts:
A lot of thanks to Night Shade Books for their awesome Mayan Prophecy Averted Giveaway! They sure know how to celebrate the non-apocalypse - with three great ebooks about apocalypse. :D
Kindle Freebies:
My no-more-kindle-freebies plan is still failing. But again - two books that I wanted to buy/read...
???:
Ok I am ashamed but I admit I have no idea how I got this book. Since I never sent review requests to Jo Fletcher Books I doubt they sent me an unsolicited book for review (since they don't have my mailing address). So the only logical explanation is that I won this on some giveaway... somewhere... someday... The only problem is I don't remember when or where. The packet with book came straight from the publisher so....
Thank you Jo Fletcher Books for sending me this book - it sounds very interesting. And thank to blog who hosted the giveaway. Let me know who you are and I will add the link here.
Let's Talk:
What do you think I should read first? Did you already read something from this pile? What did you get this week?
Let me know in comments...

ReplyDeleteYes those covers are the best in this book haul definitely. I know they say don't judge a book by the cover but who can resist. Right? ;)

DeleteThanks for stopping by my STS! I've wanted to read a Samantha Young book for awhile now, I hear she's a great author. Enjoy your books =)
ReplyDeleteI read 'On Dublin Street' by Samantha Young and it was not bad for a contemporary erotic romance. I hope this series is good too. :)
DeleteHaven't read any of these, but they look awesome :) I also have Smokeless Fire ;p While it sounds awesome, I am not happy with damn love triangle :p but hoping to read it one day :) Enjoy it all :D

Love, Carina @ Carina's Books
Smokeless Fire has love triangle. Damn, I hate them. :( (Obviously I did not read book summary lol)
DeleteOkay, so I'm not the only one who wins a book in a giveaway, adds it to her goodreads "to read for review" pile and then comes back to it later saying "where did I get that from?" and has to go rifling through my email just to find the email from the wonderful person who sent it to me?
ReplyDeleteHappy reading! Enjoy your books :)
Megan @ Megz Madd Readz
Nope not the only one. It happened to me too... :D But this book is different problem - nobody sent me any email, I just got book packet in mail (real mail from postman) without any notification. Weird. o.O
Deletewhat that is cool... who gets random books in the mail! wish it was me! great haul! - Katie @ Inkk
ReplyDeleteI'm not complaining. Maybe it's some secret admirer. LOL :D
